Meet Dr. Marylou S. Head

Dr. Head is originally from Cincinnati, Ohio where she received a Dental Hygiene degree from the University of  Cincinnati in 1974, graduating with summa cum laude distinction. She then attended the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry graduating first in her class in 1978. In September of that year, Dr. Head opened her dental practice and, additionally, began teaching as a part-time faculty member at the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry. She continued to teach at the dental school for 12 years until the demands of private practice and a growing young family required her to make the difficult decision to resign as a part-time faculty member.

Dr. Head has provided excellent dental care in a comfortable, caring environment for over 40 years. Her  practice is patient centered, focusing on the needs and desires of each patient on a very personal level. She specializes in family and cosmetic dentistry, with an emphasis on excellence and beautiful smiles. Dr. Head  began providing Cosmetic Injections, Juvederm and Restylane treatments over 10 years ago, for both cosmetic enhancement  and to treat medical conditions, including TMJ symtoms and migraines. 

She devotes much time to continuing education in order to provide her patients with up to date techniques  and cutting edge technology.  She is a member of:
